To fully describe the unique blend of the culinary sensations that is Malaysian cooking, I would have to take you through an exposition of it’s multi-cultural influences, it’s age-old history and the sensory explosions stimulated by totally new and varied blend of spices. But all this wouldn’t accurately convey the raison d’etre of my establishment.
Selamat Datang, ‘Welcome to Kayalan’, the Entreat, the Privilege, the Title for a cuisine that is, and will manifest, as the end of the evolution of Asian-fusion food. For my audience, and the critics hidden amongst you, what Kayalan aims to deliver to Delhi is a taste of the best in contemporary Malaysian cuisine, the masterful tri-fusion blend of South Indian, Cantonese and Malay cuisines. In an attempt to encompass the entirety of Malaysian cuisine, our menu will consist of both the familiar and the unknown – all of which I hope will prove to be an irrestible temptation to your palate.
